I love Motichoor laddoos. But since it is fried and lots of ghee used, my daughter sent me this recipe. It is healthy.
INGREDIENTS
Ghee ½ cup
Wheat rava 1 ½ cups
hot water 4 cups
sugar 1 1/2 cups
saffron colour 1/4 tsp
cardamom pdr 1/2 sp
nuts as desired chopped
METHOD
Roast on low flame till rava changes colour and aromatic
Add 4 cups hot water, stir continuously till water is absorbed
Add sugar and saffron colour, keep stirring till sugar melts, then cover and simmer for 5 minutes
Remove the
lid, mix well, once it leaves the sides of the pan, remove, cool, add chopped
nuts, cardamom pdr.
When well mixed roll into laddoos.
