Onion-besan sabzi !

 INGREDIENTS

onion chopped 1 cup

besan  1/2-3/4 cup ( sieve the besan, so no lumps are there when adding to onion)

red chili pdr  1 tsp

turmeric pdr  1 tsp

dhania pdr  1 tsp

garam masala pdr 1 tsp

water for sprinkling

ghee/ oil 2 tbsp

hing little

jeera 1/2 tsp

ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp

coriander leaves for garnishing


METHOD

in a kadai/ pan, add ghee/ oil, add jeera, hing, add onion, little salt, fry till golden on medium flame stirring often, then add the dry masalas and ginger-garlic paste, keep frying for 3 minutes

now add 2-3 tbsp of besan at a time, mixing well, then add more besan, roughly the quantity of besan and onion are same when cut. once all the besan is added, keep stirring, sprinkling some water for it to cook well.

cover and let it cook on low flame for about 3 minutes, mix well.

serve garnished with coriander leaves.
