Cauliflower alla Parmigiana

 Cauliflower alla Parmigiana
A vegetarian twist on Chicken Parmigiana, this side-dish is as easy to make as it is healthy and delicious. Enjoying that Parmesan without the usual heavy additives that increase our girth. Enjoy this delicious Cauliflower alla Parmigiana!

Ingredients:  
Cauliflower - 1 head 
Sea salt - 1/4 tbsp. 
Ground black pepper - 1/4 tbsp. 
Butter - 2 1/2 tbsp. 
Cheese grated as much as you need


Method of Preparation
 
Preheat the oven to 430°F. Meanwhile, butter an 8x10" baking dish. 
 
Boil salted water and cook the cauliflower until soft (about 4 minutes). Drain well and let cool slightly. 
 
Slice the stems lengthwise to about 1/4" thickness and place the slices, overlapping each one tightly in the baking dish. 
 
Season with some salt and pepper and dot with some butter. 
 
Sprinkle with cheese and bake until browned (about 30 minutes). Serve hot. 
 
Tip: To save time, you can use frozen cauliflower and skip the second step
