Besan Pedas

After reading Sri Satcharita within a week, one has to make some prasad. In stead of making suji halwa/ suji cake, thought of making something different with besan. People thought it was peda, sorry couldn't shape well, as legs were aching while standing and cooking.

Ingredients

besan  1 cup

ghee 3-4 tbsp

milk  roughly 300 ml

condensed milk  1/2 can

Method

melt ghee in a heavy pan / kadai, add besan, keep frying in medium flame till nice aroma comes, you've to keep stirring continuously or it will get burnt

Once the besan was light brown with nice aroma, I added milk little at a time, stirring well

then added condensed milk, mixed well, as it was getting thicker, added little ghee again, kept stirring till it left the sides of the pan.

As, I'ld not stand any longer, I just switched off the gas mixed well, and let it remain in the pan

After resting for some time, came and mixed it well, spread on a container and kept it in the fridge to harden, then to distribute to the residents here, I rolled it small, as most people are diabetic and are afraid to taste any sweet even if it is prasad !

My friends couldn't make out how I made, but all liked it very much.
