Tip to store fresh green peas in the freezer
Many like to buy in bulk green peas during winter & would love to store it for summer when they're not available or costly.
An easy way is, to shell the peas, wash, boil water, put the peas in boiling water for 2 minutes, drain, cool, then store in the freezer, in this way, peas will not smell & it will last long. Normally whens stores fresh peas without blanching, they tend to smell after 2-3 weeks, and that smell is there in any dish that you cook.
So, enjoy peas in summer this way.

HOW TO RETAIN THE GREENS IN BEANS AND OTHER GREENS
To retain the lovely, natural green of your beans, cook them uncovered with a little water, so that it doesn't get stuck.
For greens, blanch in boiling water, refresh in cold water, so that it stops the cooking process & retains its natural colour.
