INGREDIENTS
Soak ¼ tsp saffron in 2 tbsp water for 10 minutes
Maida 1 ½ cups
Sugar 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Cardamom pdr/ ¼ tsp
Baking pdr 1 tsp
Milk ½ cup
METHOD
Mix all the dry ingredients, pour milk add the soaked saffron
Add 2 tbsp ghee, knead to a soft dough
Rest for 30 minutes
Divide dough into 4 parts, roll one into a thick roti
With a knife
make marks all over and cook on tawa with ghee till brown and crisp on both sides.
