Peanut Butter Cup Dump Cake

Ingredients:

1 box chocolate cake mix
1 (3.4 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup mini peanut butter cups, halved
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)
 
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and instant chocolate pudding mix.
Add milk to the dry mixture and stir until well combined and smooth.
Spread the chocolate cake batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
Drop spoonfuls of creamy peanut butter over the cake batter.
Sprinkle the halved mini peanut butter cups evenly over the peanut butter layer.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the peanut butter cups.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
