Sweet Sindhi Roti

 INGREDIENTS

 wheat flour 1 cup

ghee 1 tbsp

pinch of salt

jaggery powder 3/4 cup mix with 3/4 water and keep aside for 2 hours

cardamom powder  1/2 tsp

dry ginger powder  1/2 tsp

dry fruits as desired to spread on top

ghee for cooking


METHOD

mix wheat flour, pinch of salt, ghee mix well

add the jaggery mixture and knead to a tight dough, cover and keep aside for -10 minutes

now roll into a roti about 1/4" thick, make a slit in the center and make slits as if you're playing tick-tack-toe. Spread the chopped nuts on top, press it down with your finger and roll it with a rolling pin pressing down the nuts.

heat a tawa/ non-stick pan with  ghee, spread it all around, put the rolled out roti, nuts side down and put some ghee all around and on top, let it cook on low flame till brown down, carefully flip it, spread some more ghee all around and on top, cook till crisp.

Cut and serve hot. Enjoy this sweet, nutty roti.
