Ingredients:
1 kg besan
1 kg castor sugar
5 Tbsp ghee
2-3 tsp cardamom pdr
Method:
In a heavy pan, add the ghee and besan and start cooking over a low flame. Keep stirring till its colour deepens to a pale brown. Add a few saffron threads.
Take it off the flame and add the castor sugar and cardamom pdr. You can add some fried nuts chopped.
Stir it quickly and begin making balls the minute you can touch it.
Place the balls in a flat dish which is lined with
ghee. Let it cool for a while and you're ready to serve.
