Ingredients and preparations
lauki 1 peel, remove seeds and finely grate
carrot 1 peel and finely grate
potato 1 wash well and grate
green chilies 1-2 finely chop as per taste
curry leaves finely chopped 1 tsp
coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
salt to taste
turmeric pdr little
pepper pdr 1/2 tsp
besan 2 tbsp
rice flour 2 tbsp
mix all well, then add water to get a thick batter
heat a tawa, grease with oil, spread a ladle full of batter, spread as thin as possible, make a hole in the center
cover and cook on medium flame 2-3 minutes, till the bottom side is cooked and brown
flip over spread some oil, cover and cook for another 2-3 minutes till brown and crisp
serve hot with coconut/ tomato chutney.
healthy, protein, fiber and vitamins rich adai .
Note- you may add too if desired.
