Leftover rice tikki

 Ingredients

leftover rice 1 cup

suji 1/2 cup

curd 1/2 cup

mix these 3 ingredients, cover and keep aside 

onion 1 finely chopped

carrot 1 finely grated

green chilies chopped as per taste

hing little

salt to taste

coriander leaves chopped 1-2 tbsp 

oil  1 tbsp

hing little

sesame seeds 1 tbsp

curry leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp 

 

Preparations

add the chopped vegetables along with salt, hing to the rice mixture, mix well.

grease a steamer plate, small tikki/ cutlets steam for 7-8 minutes, remove cool slightly

once the tikkis are slightly cooled, heat a pan/ kadai with oil, add hing, sesame seeds, curry leaves, add the steamed tikkis, mix well, if you want little crisp, keep the pan covered and cook in low flame. 

Serve the healthy tikkis with chutney/ sauce.
