Ingredients and method
masoor dal 1 cup wash and put in the mixer jar with
dry red chili 1
ginger 1" roughly chopped
jeera 1/2 tsp
salt to taste

grind to a smooth batter adding water as needed to get the semi-thick batter for dosa
heat a tawa, grease it , once hot, pour a ladle of batter, spread it as thin as possible, put some oil and cook on medium flame, once the bottom is cooked, flip over to cook on the other side, adding some oil if needed.
Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar/ milagai podi.
