 The health benefits of Pumpkin seeds

Packed with magnesium, iron, and zinc, pumpkin seeds are small yet mighty. They offer anti-inflammatory benefits, boost heart health, and are a great source of protein. When transformed into butter, they provide a creamy texture and nutty flavour that can elevate many dishes.

 

 

Tips to Remember:

The seeds need to be roasted before the process, as it helps release the natural oils in the seeds. 

Ingredients: 

250 gm Roasted Pumpkin Seeds 

Salt to taste

 

Preparations

Like any nut butter, add the roasted pumpkin seeds into the mixing jar and give it a quick blitz. Keep repeating the process until the oils inside the pumpkin seeds are released and the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. 

This process will require several turns of quick blitzes. Once the mixture achieves a smooth creamy texture, transfer it into a serving bowl. Add some salt if you like. 

This pumpkin seed butter can also be seasoned with any other spices of your choice, like red chili powder, black pepper etc. 

This can also be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days.
