Peas- paneer cutlets- Navaratri Fast Snacks

 Ingredients

Green peas 1 ½ cups

Paneer 100 gm

Salt to taste

Jeera pdr 1 tsp

coriander pdr 1 tsp

red chili pdr ½ tsp or to taste

garam masala ¼ tsp

pepper pdr 1/8 tsp

mint leaves 7-8

coriander leaves 2 tbsp

corn flour 2 tbsp

green chilies 2 chopped or to taste

 ginger finely chopped 1 tsp

roasted besan 2 tbsp

oil  2 tbsp

 

Preparations

Boil peas in a pressure cooker and keep them aside.

Heat oil, add ginger, green chilies, cumin and besan

Add boiled peas, sprinkle the spices

Add corn flour to bind along with salt to taste.

Separately mix paneer with salt and pepper in another bowl. Make small balls of this, same number as peas balls.

Take a lemon size green peas ball, make a cup shape, stuff them with small paneer balls, cover it well from all sides, then flatten it.

Shallow fry them in hot oil, or can air fry them or roast them in a griddle, fry them till crisp on both sides.

Serve it hot with green chutney, sweet tamarind chutney.
