Sweet Barley Pongal/ kichdi

INGREDIENTS


barley  1/2 cup
moong dal  1/2 cup
ghee as needed
water as needed
condensed milk  1/2 cup
nuts & raisins as needed

METHOD

Roast half a cup of barley and half a cup of moong dal in a pan with two tablespoons of ghee.
Once done, add water and pressure-cook it.
Take it out after 3-4 whistles and boil it in half a cup of sweet condensed milk.
Keep stirring till the mixture begins to thicken.
Pour it into small bowls and garnish with roasted nuts & raisins.
Serve the dish warm.
