Easy chakli

INGREDIENTS

ghee about 3 tbsp
rice flour  2 cups
besan/ chana dal and moong dal roasted & powdered  1 cup
hing little
salt to taste
chilli pdr. 1-2 tsp
saunf/  fennel seeds   2 tsp or you may use ajwain/ carom seeds   2 tsp
oil for frying
water as needed

METHOD

rub ghee well, till it gets soft & frothy
add the flours, mix well, add salt, chilli pdr, hing, saunf/ ajwain, mix well
add water to make a soft dough
put the dough in the chakli mould, make chaklis on a sheet, then carefully fry them in hot oil till golden brown on both sides, drain well, cool & store in air-tight tin.
