Little Millet / Samai Idli for fasting

 When people fast, they don't eat any rice, wheat or their products. For them a simple, healthy idli.

 

 Ingredients

Soak sama rice for 2 to 3 hours, drain and grind it to a fine paste.
Add powdered sabudana in the samai rice mixture with little water in it. Transfer to a large pot.
Once the batter is ready, add curd and mix it well. Let the curd ferment along with the batter for 15 minutes. 
 
Before making idli, add baking soda / Eno fruit salt to the batter, mix well at once pour into greased idli plates, steam it for 12-15 minutes in medium heat.
 
Serve hot with chutney, sambar. milagai podi.
