Healthy Coconut Barfi

 Ingredients

fresh grated coconut 1/ roughly 2 cups 

gur/ jaggery 1 cup

water 1/4 cup

ghee 2-3 tsp

nuts chopped as desired

cardamom pdr 1/2 tsp

milk  1/3 cup

milk pdr 1/3 cup 

 This may contain: several pieces of food sitting on top of a green plate

Preparations

in a heavy pan/ kadai, heat 2 tsp of ghee, add coconut, keep stirring on low flame till a nice aroma comes

in another gas, heat jaggery with water, keep stirring on n off till jaggery melts

Once the jaggery has melted, strain the syrup, directly over the coconut

keep stirring till the mixture becomes thick

add cardamom pdr and nuts, mix well 

in another pan heat milk and milk pdr, cook till the mixture get thick

add this home-made khoya to the coconut mixture, mix well, stir for 2-3 minutes 

then spread the mixture on a greased plate, level it, allow it cool and set

cut into desired shape and store.
