7 breakfast ideas to cool your stomach

Do you ever wake up to a hot, sweaty summer morning feeling extremely dehydrated? The sun is ablaze, and the sunlight through the window is intense. Even before you hit the ground, you already feel drained and low in energy.

To start your morning right, you need to break your fast by eating foods that cool your stomach. According to a clinical nutritionist and dietician, "Heavy, greasy breakfasts can cause bloating, sluggishness, and indigestion," she said. It is advised to opt for lighter, soothing options to stay refreshed and energised.

It is better to make a smoothie at home rather than drinking carbonated drinks. The nutritionist said, "Coconut water is packed with electrolytes, while banana provides a gentle source of fibre and natural sweetness."
