AMARANTH SWEET DRINK

INGREDIENTS

amaranth grains   1 cup
water 2 cups
milk as needed
banana  1
apple 1/2
nuts   8-10 chopped
raisins  10
figs  6-8 chopped
dates   8-10 chopped
brown sugar/ honey to taste or sugar substitute

METHOD

pressure cook amaranth with water, or you can substitute part with milk to make it healthier, till done, roughly for 3 whistles.
then add brown sugar, honey, boil, mixing well, add more milk, part of the chopped banana & apple, also of nuts & other dry fruits, reserving rest of decoration.
once it boils well, remove, pour into a bowl.
decorate with apple, banana pieces around, then sprinkle nuts, raisins, figs & dates, to make it appealing. 
it is a very healthy drink, as amaranth has lots of nutrition, which you may see in my other blog.
