IDLI CUTLET

INGREDIENTS

idlis   6
idli batter  1 cup
bread crumbs  1 tbsp
milagai podi   1 tbsp
mango pickle pdr.   1 tsp
potatoes 2 boiled & mashed
oil to fry
salt to  taste

METHOD

mix mashed potato with milagai podi, picke pdr. little salt
slice the idlis into 1/2, now make an opening in the halved idli for mashed potato mixture.
use idli batter to seal the opening, roll in breadcrumbs & milagai podi if desired.
deep fry in hot oil, in medium flame till golden brown.
serve hot with tomato sauce/ chutney of your choice.
