Pineapple muraba

Ingredients

pineapple finely chopped  700 gm
sugar  700 gm
pineapple essence  6 drops
saffron colour 3 drops
citric acid  1/2 tsp

mix pineapple and sugar well, keep aside so that sugar melts
in a heavy pan, add the pineapple-sugar mixture, keep stirring, once it boils, reduce the flame
after some time, increase the flame, again when it boils, reduce the flame, add citric acid
cook stirring till it reaches 2 string consistency, add essence and colour, boil for a minute, remove
cool, then store in a clean sterilised jar
this goes well with roti, toasted bread, kakra

apply butter on a slice of bread, apply some muraba, put some grated cheese, cover with another buttered slice, enjoy the treat.
