Everyone loves hot dosa, not everyone love to take the trouble of washing and soaking rice and urad dal, grind, then clean the mixer jar or grinder, right? For all those who love and don't want to grind, here is the easy dosa.
Ingredients
rice flour 1 cup
semolina/ suji 1/2 cup ( not roasted)
curd 1 cup
water 1/2 cup or more
onion 1 medium finely chopped ( optional)
green chilies 1-2 finely chopped as per taste ( optional)
curry leaves 2 sprigs finely chopped ( optional)
salt to taste
oil to cook
Preparations
In a big bowl add the 1-3 ingredients mix well, add water, mix well
then add onion, green chilies, curry leaves, salt and mix well.
heat a heavy tawa, once hot smear oil all over, pour a small dosa first, spread well
put oil all around, cook on medium heat, once bottom is brown, hardly a minute, flip it to cook the other side, if need be add little oil.
It will be done in a minute, serve hot with sambar/ chutney/ milagai podi.
