Roasted carrot soup

Simple and healthy recipe with minimal ingredients

Ingredients 
 
carrots 3-4 
onion - 1 medium size 
garlic 2-3 pods 
ginger 1/2 inch  
cinnamon - 1/2 inch
clove  -2 
tomato - 1 
oil- 2 tbsp
salt and pepper to taste 
sugar a pinch
 
 
Preparations
roast the carrots on the tava till they are little charred on few sides. It can be roasted in the oven with some oil and salt
 
in a pan with little oil add cinnamon, clove, ginger, garlic, onion fry till transparent, add tomato and fry till soft add salt to taste.
 
add roasted carrots and mix.. 
 
grind the above mixture to purée after it cools a bit. 
 
heat the purée  with pinch of sugar and serve with fresh cream and toasted bread pieces.
