Crisp Sweet Potato Wedges

 Extra Crispy Sweet Potato Wedges

Sweet potatoes have been the go-to for those wishing to avoid the classic fried potatoes. By adding cornflour, this recipe will give you a heap of crispy wedges to enjoy alongside your main meal or as a snack.

Ingredients 
 
Sweet potato - 2 (cut into wedges) 
 
oil - as needed 
 
Salt and Pepper - as needed 
 
Cornstarch - as needed 
 
Dried Thyme - as needed 
 
 Preparations
 
Coat the wedges in cornstarch and arrange on a lined baking sheet. Heat oven to 450°F. 
 
You can either peel or keep the skin. Drizzle with oil, sprinkle the seasoning and bake 30 minutes. 
 
Turn on the broiler for additional 3-5 minutes, giving them a crispy finish.
