Healthy Pea Soup

 Recipe: Pea Soup  

 Ingredients  (serves 3)

1 cup of fresh green peas  

1/4 cup of chopped onions  

1/4 cup of chopped potatoes  

1/4 cup of milk  

Salt and pepper to taste 

water as required 

Preparations 

Add the green peas, onions, potatoes, and 1 cup of hot water to a deep pan. Mix well, and cook on a medium flame for around 6 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

Allow this mixture to cool completely and then blend in a mixer until smooth.

Transfer the mixture back to the pan, add the milk, salt, pepper, and 1/2 a cup of water. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for around 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally. 

Serve hot with croutons / bread toast
