Carrot Kheer / Payasam

Ingredients
Carrot - 2 medium sized.
milk    1/2 liters = 500 ml
cashew nuts -as desired chopped
almonds blanched -5
kesar(saffron)-optional-a pinch.
raw sugar -3 tbsp(or you can add more based on your taste)
 
Instructions
grate carrot into fine pieces
boil the milk and add carrots,cashews,almonds and kesar.
wait until carrots are boiled completely and soft.
keep aside and cool it for 10 minutes.
Grind it in a mixer with sugar.
You can serve it hot/ cold as per your taste.
