Summer is the time, one can drink any amount of liquid, due to heat. It is always good to keep yourself well hydrated in summer. I'll advice all to carry a bottle of water whenever you step out of the house, young or old. Old people tend to forget drinking water and are often dehydrated, which makes them lose their memory at times. Even when I go for a walk within the complex, I carry a 250 ml of water bottle with me, as my throat gets dry quickly. I keep sipping water, not gulp it down.
God is so clever that the fruits and vegetables that are harvested in summer have high water content- all melons, cucumber, berries. Always choose seasonal fruits and vegetables, as they're rich in nutrients.
Summer cooler drink
water melon chopped 1 bowl
rose syrup 1-2 tbsp as per taste
sea salt little
lime juice 1-2 tbsp
mint leaves 3-4
Just blend all well, pour in a glass, you may drizzle little rose syrup all around and decorate with lime piece,mint leaf and a watermelon wedge.
I'ld say better to drink it plain than adding ice cubes.
When you come from outside heat, people think by drinking cold water, your thirst will get quenched, sorry a big NO. Better to drink water or any juice at room temperature or even warm water ! Drinking cold water will affect your health, take it from me.
