After this, you will never let the curdled milk go bad. Whenever the milk curdles, the family members will say to make Rasmalai. This sweet will give tough competition to other sweets. Even other sweet dishes in the market will seem pale in front of it.
Ingredients
1 kg curdled milk
Half a kg of fresh milk
2 cups of sugar
1 teaspoon cornflour
8 to 10 chopped almonds
6 to 8 chopped pistachios
2 to 3 strands of saffron
Method
- First of all, boil the curdled milk for a while. After boiling, put it in a thin cotton cloth and remove its water and separate it.
- After this, mix cornflour in the cream extracted from the curdled milk and keep rubbing it with hands for a long time, so that the cream and cornflour get mashed well.
- After rubbing properly, make small balls of it and keep them in a plate. Now put sugar and a cup of water in a pan and put it on the gas for boiling.
- When it boils, put all the balls in this sugar water. After this, take out fresh milk in a separate bowl and boil it by adding chopped dry fruits.
- Boil the milk till it thickens. Then add saffron threads to it for better color and taste. Now take out these balls from the syrup and put them in the saffron milk.
- Leave it for about 1 hour, so that the balls absorb the milk well. After this, keep the ras malai in the fridge to set. Your rasmalai is ready.
