Coocnut macaroons

Ingredients

sugar  150 gm
grated coconut  100 gm
egg white  2
baking pdr.  1/4 tsp
lemon essence few drops

Method

mix coconut, sugar and egg whites in a thick bottom pan
place on low heat and cook till it starts to become a sticky mass and leaves the sides of the vessel
remove, cool and add baking pdr. and essence, mix well
put small balls on a lined baking tray
bake at 325 deg. F till they're golden ( approximately 10-15 minutes)
makes about 10-12 pieces
