SOYA CHUNKS-POTATO SABZI

INGREDIENTS

soya chunks- small ones   roughly  1/4 cup soaked twice in hot water, squeezed completely
potato  1 big chopped small, almost the same size as chunks
onion  1 big finely chopped
tomatoes  2 big finely chopped
garlic 1 clove finely chopped optional
salt and chilli pdr. to taste
chana masala  1/2 tsp
oil  2 tsp
cumin 1 tsp

METHOD

in a pan , heat oil, add cumin, once it crackles, add garlic and onion fry for 2 minutes
add tomatoes, add little salt, fry well
I cooked the potatoes in microwave for 3 minutes with little water
once tomatoes were almost done, add the soya and potatoes, add some water, salt and chilli pdr. to
taste, mix well, cover and cook for 5 minutes, till the masalas are well absorbed in the chunks and the gravy gets dry, add chana masala and remove
serve hot with rice or roti

ps- you can use bigger soya chunks, then cut potatoes bigger.
