INGREDIENTS
oil 2 tsp
jeera/ cumin 1/2 tsp
dry red chillies 2
cinnamon 1"
apple 1/2 cup chopped
water 2 tbsp
ginger 1/2 tsp finely chopped
brown sugar/ gur 1 1/2 tbsp
chilli pdr. 1/2 tsp
lime juice 1 1/2 tsp
in a pan, heat oil, add jeera, add chillies, fry for a minutes
add cinnamon, fry for few seconds, add apple, water, ginger, brown sugar, chilli pdr, let it simmer for 3-4 minutes
remove, cool, grind with lime juice to a smooth paste, adding wee bit water if necessary to get the right consistency
this dip can be served with spicy kakras, samosas, bhajias, bread sticks, vegetable sticks
