CABBAGE MANCHURIAN in SAUCE

INGREDIENTS

cabbage chopped fine   1 1/2 cups
carrot chopped fine/ grated small   3/4 cup
garlic finely chopped   1 tsp
green chillies finely chopped  1 tsp
celery chopped   2 tsp or finely chopped coriander leaves
all purpose flour/ maida   3 tbsp
corn flour  1 1/2 tbsp
salt to taste
oil to fry

mix all well, deep fry in hot oil, making small balls till brown, drain and keep aside

FOR THE SAUCE

oil  1 tbsp
garlic finely chopped 1 tbsp
ginger finely chopped  1 tsp
green chillies finely chopped  1 tsp
spring onion white  2 tbsp
celery chopped  1-2 tbsp
ajinomoto a pinch
vegetable stock/ water  3/4 cup
soya sauce  1 tbsp
pepper pdr.  1/2 tsp
salt to taste
 sugar  1/2 tsp
corn flour  1 tbsp mixed in little water
spring onion green 2-3 tbsp
coriander leaves to garnish

METHOD

heat oil in a pan, add garlic, ginger, fry, add spring onion white, fry for a minute, add celery, fry for another minute, add a pinch of ajinomoto, add vegetable stock or water, soya sauce, pepper pdr., salt, sugar, mix well, let it come to a boil, add corn flour mixed with water to thicken, add spring onion green reserving little for garnishing later, add fried manchurian balls
remove, serve hot, garnish with spring onion green and coriander leaves
