SAFFRON AND NUTS PULAO

INGREDIENTS

ghee  2 tbsp
raisins  1 tbsp
nuts ( almonds/ cashew nuts)   2 tbsp chopped
milk  1/2 cup
saffron few strands soaked in warm milk
cooked rice  1 bowl
cinnamon  1"
cloves  2
cardamom pdr.  1 tsp
sugar 2-3 tbsp or to taste

METHOD
in a pan, heat ghee, fry cinnamon, cloves, add nuts & raisins fry till light brown
add milk, a pinch of red chilli pdr. to get colour, sugar to taste, let it boil well & reduce little, add rice, mix well, add saffron milk, mix, cook on slow flame covered for 2-3 minutes for the flavours to be well absorbed, add cardamom pdr., serve hot.
