ingredients
semolina/ suji 1/2 cup
cooked noodles 1 cup
tomato one finely chopped
cucumber chopped 1/2 cup( removing the seeds)
fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 cup
green chillies finely chopped 3 tsp or to taste
capsicum finely chopped 1/4 cup
onion finely chopped 1/4 cup
chilli sauce to taste
soya sauce 1/2 tsp
salt and chilli pdr. to taste
water as required to make batter
oil for shallow frying
method
add water to suji to make a thick batter, add cooked noodles and rest of the ingredients except oil, mix well, add water to make a thick batter
heat a tava/ griddle, grease it well, spread batter in small rounds, put little oil all around, cook on medium flame to crisp on both sides
repeat the process with the rest of the batter
serve hot, it can be eaten plain, or with ketchup/ sweet chutney as it is quite spicy.
ps- incase you've some leftover noodles of any kind, you can make batter with semolina, add the leftover noodles, onion & spices to taste, cook in the same way, as normally one doesn't like to eat leftovers, so best change the form ! a new dish is always relished even with leftovers !
