TOY COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

for cookie dough
flour  1 1/4 cup
butter  4 tbsp
powdered sugar  1/4 cup

for topping
walnuts few chopped
cherries few chopped
candy covered chocolate jams
white chocolate pieces
milk chocolate pieces
multi-coloured sprinkles

METHOD
grease a baking tray
heat oven to 175 deg. C
take butter & sugar in a bowl, beat well to get a nice creamy mixture
add flour, make dough
roll dough on a polythene sheet to a 1/4 " thickness
cut into various toy shapes
arrange cookies on the tray, make few holes with a fork
bake for roughly 15-20 minutes, time can vary from oven to oven till light brown in colour
remove from oven, after 5 minutes, cool on a wire rack
take white chocolate pieces in a vessel, either microwave them to melt, or add boiling water, stir over gas to melt
apply on the cookies, do the same with milk chocolate
put sprinkles, walnut, cherry pieces when the chocolate is still warm to give a decorative effect.
allow to cool, store in dry container if anything is left after your kids & adults had a good go at it.
