Sattu Halwa

 Ingredients

Channa Sattu-1Cup ( pottu kadalai pdr)

Ghee (clarified butter)-1Cup

Milk-2 Cups

Sugar  1/2 Cup

Cardamom Powder- A pinch.

Some Chopped Dry Fruits

Instructions:

Heat a pan heat little ghee, fry the dry fruits and keep it in a small cup.

In the same pan add a generous amount of ghee.

Add Channa Sattu to the ghee and roast it on low flame until it turns golden brown. This step enhances the flavor and aroma of the sattu.

Once the sattu is roasted to perfection, gradually add warm milk and mix it with the roasted sattu to form a smooth mixture.

Add sugar according to your desired level of sweetness.

Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.

Add a pinch of aromatic cardamom powder for a delightful fragrance.

Transfer the halwa into serving bowls or plates.

Optionally, garnish with chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
