Tip to make soft roti/ paranthas/ Indian flat bread

Now most people have shifted from rice to wheat or millets for healthy living, as diabetes is on the rise among Asians. But many face the problem of not able to make soft roti/ paranthas.

Simple trick

use warm water to knead your roti dough well, so gluten will come out.

after kneading well, smear little oil/ ghee on top, cover and let it rest for at least 15-20 minutes.

knead well again, don't overcook roti/ paranthas, then it will remain soft.

once cooked, cover them with a soft cloth, to prevent drying up and keep warm.
