Roasted Pumpkin Seeds Recipes

Connell's go-to roasting recipes are made with ingredients you likely already have on hand. For each of them, roast the seeds at 325°F for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring once, then let them cool completely on the pan—they’ll crisp up as they cool. For extra crunch, avoid over-oiling and keep them in a single layer. Simple and full of flavor, these seasoning combos are sure to satisfy any craving.

Classic Savory

  • Toss seeds with sea salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Finish with a pinch of flaky salt.

Smoky Chili-Lime

  • Combine smoked paprika and mild chili powder before roasting; finish with lime zest and a squeeze of lime.

Tip-  After roasting, add a touch of acid, such as citrus zest or a splash of lime juice, to help balance salty and spicy flavors.

Maple Cinnamon-Crunch

  • Whisk 1 tsp. maple syrup with 1 tsp. oil, toss with cinnamon and a pinch of cayenne, then roast and let cool until crisp.

  • Mix sesame, poppy, onion, and garlic flakes with a light sprinkle of salt.
