Ingredients and Prep
Grind 2 tomatoes with few curry leaves and 1 green chili
Add the mixture in a bowl, add ¼ cup poha, sifted well, mix and cover and keep aside for 2-3 minutes
Add 1 boiled and mashed potatoes, you can mash all with a veg masher
Add green chilies finely chopped as per taste
Finely chopped curry leaves 1 tsp
salt to taste, jeera ½ tsp
jeera pdr ½ tsp, ajwain ¼ tsp
sesame seeds 1 tbsp
in a bowl add 1 cup atta, 2 tbsp suji, 1 ½ tbsp oil, mix well with your hand
add salt to taste, ajwain ¼ tsp, jeera ½ tsp and Turmeric pdr ¼ tsp
add water little by little to make a soft dough, knead well, rest for 5 minutes, knead well again
divide into 3 parts, 2 same size, 1 big, roll into roti into very thin roti
on the bigger roti, spread the poha mixture, keep a smaller roti on top of the filling, spread the remaining poha mixture on the 2nd roti, cover with the last, press the corners well fold from corners like a long packet
steam well for 8-10 minutes, once steamed, remove, cool well, cut into strips
In a bowl add rice flour 2-3 tsp ,salt, coriander leaves, turmeric little, til,add water to make a thin batter
coat the strips, fry in oil in medium flame, turning around in all sides till crisp, drain and serve hot with chutney of your choice.
