Acai powder is made by freeze-drying and grinding nutrient-dense acai berries, offering a shelf-stable alternative to frozen puree. It's celebrated for its high antioxidant and healthy omega-fatty acid content.
Ingredients
1 frozen açai packet or 2 tbsp açai powder
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup mixed berries
1/4th cup milk
Fresh fruit, granola and chia seeds well soaked for topping
Blend the açai, banana, berries and milk until thick and smooth. Pour into a bowl and top with fresh fruit of your choice (mango, pineapple, kiwi, blueberries), granola and chia seeds before serving.
Chia seeds should be soaked at least for 30 minutes before eating, or else it is not good for digestions.
