EASY OATS VADA

INGREDIENTS

oats soaked for 30 minutes in just enough water   1 bowl
potato one grated kept in water and well drained before mixing with oats
onion 1 finely chopped OR 2 spring onion finely chopped along with its greens
green chilies finely chopped to taste or red chili pdr.
hing 1/4 tsp
coriander leaves finely chopped  2 tbsp
ginger paste  OR finely chopped ginger 1 tsp
salt to taste
saunf/ f  1 tsp crushed 
Eno 1/2 tsp

 oil for frying

METHOD
drain completely the potato, mix with soaked oats along with other ingredients well, it should be thick batter like for pakora/ vada, add Eno mix well for 2 minutes, at once fry in medium hot oil, like small vadas/ pakoras, whichever you find easy. Fry till light brown, drain and serve hot with chutney of your choice. In case, you want to have like dahi vada, soak in warm water for 3 minutes, drain and put in thick seasoned curd , else if you soak when hot in curd, it will absorb it all, and later you'll find that there is no curd to be seen ! to serve, serve with some green chutney, sweet chutney, sprinkling little chili and jeera powders on top, want it more fancy add some fine sev, pomegranate seeds, coriander leaves chopped and some also like with finely chopped onion. So, depending on the taste of the people and of course your own taste, serve as per the best choice.
