INGREDIENTS
brown rice/ or any other healthy rice cooked 1 cup
ghee 1 tbsp
cinnamon 1/2 "
cardamom 2 split open or can use cardamom pdr. 1/2 tsp
nuts chopped 2 tbsp
raisins 1 tbsp
milk 1/4 cup
brown/ palm sugar/ gur 3-4 tbsp
apple chopped 1/4 cup
pineapple chopped 1/4 cup
OR use whatever seasonal fruits you've ( oranges, sweet lime, plum, peach,
strawberry,kiwi)
vanilla essence 1/4 tsp
METHOD
in a pan, heat ghee, add cinnamon, cardamom, fry till aroma comes, add nuts and raisins fry till light brown, add cooked rice, sugar and milk, cook till the sugar is absorbed, remove add essence, mix the fruits reserving few for garnishing, serve in individual bowls, garnishing with fruits and nuts.
