CARROT-BEETROOT KANJI OR HEALTHY CARROT AND BEETROOT DRINK



INGREDIENTS
Carrot 3 big ones cut peel and cut into strips about 3-4” long
Beetroot 2 peel and cut into strips like carrot
Water about 1 ½ litres
Mustard powder 1 tbsp fpr 3 cups of water
Hing ¼ tsp
Black Salt to taste

METHOD
Boil water; add carrot and beetroot, with ½ tsp of salt for 3 minutes
Drain and keep the veges in a colander
In the drained water, add mustard pdr., hing and little more salt to taste, mix well
Once the water has cooled, add the veges, put in a bottle, cover and keep in the Sun for 3-4 days
Serve cold, this is a much healthier drink than any aerated drink, full of nutrients and minerals.
