Curd Avil

 Normally, you must have heard for curd rice, healthy, soothes stomach. This is a healthy variant, as avil has more iron, fiber than rice. 

Ingredients and Preparations

Wash and soak thick  avil 1 cup for 10 minutes

Add grated carrot, grated cucumber, salt and mix well

Add curds as needed

For seasoning heat oil 1 tsp

Mustard seeds ½ tsp

Chana dal 1 tbsp

Urad dal 1 tbsp

Peanuts 1-2 tbsp

green chilies 1-2 as per taste finely chopped 

Curry leaves finely chopped

Pour the seasoning over the curd, mix well adding some finely chopped coriander leaves.
