INGREDIENTS
FOR PEAS FILLING
Oil 1 tsp
Hing little
Jeera/cumin ½ tsp
Ginger finely chopped ½ tsp or paste
Blanched peas 1 cup
chaat masala 1 tsp
salt to taste
chili pdr. 1 tsp
FOR POTATO STUFFING
Potato 2 boiled, peeled and mashed
Chaat masala 1 tsp
Green chilies finely chopped 1 tsp or to taste
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tsp
FOR DOUGH
Whole wheat flour / atta 2 cups
Ghee 2 tsp
Salt little
Water to knead
METHOD
For peas stuffing
Heat oil, add jeera, once it crackles, add hing, ginger, peas and
seasonings, mix well, mashing it little
For potato filling
Mix all the ingredients well
For dough
Mix flour, salt and ghee well, add water to make a soft dough, rest for 20
minutes
To make stuffing
Take a big lemon size ball, shape like a cup, put enough stuffing of peas
in some, potatoes in others, cover well, roll into a ball again, brush with
milk or oil and bake in pre-heated oven at 220 deg. C for 20-25 minutes or till
light brown, remove brush with ghee/ butter and serve with any gravy or chutney.
