INGREDIENTS
sweetcorn coarsely crushed 2 cups
potatoes 4 boiled, peeled and mashed
onion 2 finely chopped
green chilies finely chopped 1 tsp or to taste
ginger finely chopped 1 tsp
chaat masala pdr. 2 tsp
coriander pdr. 2 tsp
coriander leaves finely chopped 3 tbsp
fennel seeds/ saunf 1 tsp
jeera 1/2 tsp
oil 1 tbsp and to shallow fry
salt to taste
bread crumbs 1 cup
lime juice 1 tbsp
METHOD
heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds and jeera, fry till aroma comes, then
add ginger and green chilies along with onion, add wee bit of salt and fry till
light brown, add 1/2 tsp garam masala pdr. mix well
in a big bowl, mix potatoes, corn, seasonings,lime juice mix well, add the
fried onion mixture, mix well, add bread crumbs enough to bind all together, so
you can make kababs. make round kababs shallow fry in hot oil till brown on
both sides, serve hot with chutney of your choice or ketchup.
