PISTA BARFI

INGREDIENTS
roast pista   1 cup for 2-3 minutes, cool and powder coarsely
roast mawa or thickened milk
  1 &1/2 cups   and keep aside
sugar  1/2 cup
water to cover sugar
cardamom pdr.   1/2 tsp
ghee 1 tsp

METHOD
heat sugar with water, make 2 string syrup, add mawa, keep stirring till well mixed, add pista pdr, keep stirring till thick, add cardamom pdr. and 1 tsp ghee, mix well
pour in a greased plate, allow it to cool, cut into desired shape, if desired, press blanched and halved pista slices on each or you may put almond slices.
