INGREDIENTS
moong dal soak for 3 hours, drain and grind to a smooth paste along with
ginger and green chilies to taste
spinach 1/2 cup
cabbage finely chopped 1/4 cup
carrot grated 1/4 cup
lime juice 1 tbsp
sugar 1 tsp
salt to taste
corn coarsely mashed 1/4 cup
suji / semolina 1/4 cup
METHOD
in a bowl add moong dal paste ( grind with minimum water)
add all the ingredients, mix well, make small balls, steam for 10-15
minutes on medium flame in a steamer / idli cooker
serve hot with chutney of your choice.
ps- it is very healthy, as it has dal, corn for protein, fibre, as spinach
is there,green chilies and lime juice for Vitamin C, carrot for beta-carotene, iron from spinach. Cabbage for antioxidants.
