INGREDIENTS
besan 1 cup
ghee 3/4 cup
sugar 1 cup
water 1/4 cup
1/4 cup=4 tbsp
METHOD
Sift 1 cup besan in a kadai
Roast till you get a nice aroma.
remove to a bowl and add ½ cup of melted ghee little by little, mix
well, set aside
in a pan add 1 cup sugar and ¼ cup water
keep stirring till it gets to 1 string consistency
add the besan mixture, keep stirring, as it get thick, keep adding little
by little another 1/4 cup of melted ghee
once large bubbles appear and it leaves the sides of the pan, pour
into a greased plate or tin
it sets in about 15 minutes, cut into pieces of desired shape, store.
